Investment important for further growth
“E-mobility in the commercial vehicle sector is a huge growth market. Our onboard chargers enable bidirectional charging and are among the technological pioneers,” says Robert Sterff, CEO and founder of Stercom. “With the help of Zapi, we are now taking the next step in our growth.”
The synergies created within the Zapi Group strengthen Stercom’s purchasing, development, sales, and service departments. In addition, the company can tap into new market segments and thus improve its international competitiveness.
“By collaborating with its strong European partner Zapi, Stercom can continue to develop innovative technologies directly from its location south of Munich, thereby contributing to sustainability ‘Made in Germany’. This is an important aspect for Tesvolt as a technology company based in Wittenberg,” adds Daniel Hannemann, CEO of Tesvolt AG.
Tesvolt continues to hold a stake in Stercom and will continue to work closely with the team around founders Robert Sterff and Martin Kutschker in the future.
