With its experienced team of researchers and engineers, it offers a wide range of planning and testing services. The quality assurance of complex PV projects forms the core of this process. PI Berlin has already supported projects with a total rated output of more than 2 gigawatts (GW) worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The institute also has an IEC-accredited test laboratory at its German location in Berlin, which tests solar modules for performance, reliability and resistance. Another testing laboratory of the institute is located in Suzhou, China. The tests are conducted according to strict criteria that go beyond the IEC standards.<\/p>\n<p>The institute was founded ten years ago by the PV experts Prof. Dr. Stefan Krauter, Sven Lehmann and Paul Grunow, who is also one of the founders of Solon and Q-Cells.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row unlock_row_content=&#8221;yes&#8221;
